Indigenous Engagement

Peace Horizontal Drilling is committed to long term community and stakeholder success. We will be transparent, inclusive and trustworthy. We will engage indigenous communities to become involved in projects that affect their traditional territories, family and environment. It is our responsibility to respect the communities in which we operate, and consider all the social groups who may be impacted by our operations.

Understanding and minimizing the effects of our operations are essential parts of the overall environmental management and stewardship of Canada's lands and resources. Peace HD will strive to consult with the Indigenous groups in the areas we operate in and wherever appropriate, accommodate their rights and interests. Further, decisions will be based on facts, evidence, science and traditional knowledge of Indigenous peoples.

We work closely with Indigenous people in support of economic security and well-being in their communities. We provide significant opportunities for Indigenous-owned businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals to provide goods and services to our operations.
